Do quails molt?

When do they moult? Same as chickens(Fall/ Autumn)?

A simple question - do they molt? I have a hen that looks like crap. She is eating and acts perfectly normal but she quit laying and looks terrible.

Hi there. Yep quail do moult. I have 2 cocks and a pair and as we are now into late Autumn in NZ they are all shedding feathers like crazy. I am actually not incubating any more eggs at the moment. It is getting too cold for my hen to lay viable eggs so the babies are weak or too deformed to survive

Yes they do all birds molt but they usually only do during season change
