Do Rhode Island Reds have chipmunk coloring when chicks?

I was at the local feed store and the RIRs were next to the amerucanas and they also had the chipmunk backs.
I also saw one with greyish feet and beak...could that one also be a RIR?

Local feed stores would not be selling either true RIR or true Araucana chicks in either case. The dark red chicks you see above are true RIR chicks. (I borrowed the photo).
