Do roosters make more noise when there's two of them?

I've got twelve hens and one rooster, and I don't know their breeds. I live in a neighborhood where there are friendly neighbors but there could still be a noise complaint. I wanted an EE rooster so that I could breed for egg colors. I don't know if the new rooster will make it a lot worse. Does anyone have suggestions?

Will they actually get louder or will they crow more?

Definately more, I'm not sure they could be louder at times lol. It's called competitive crowing and can go on for a LONG time.

It depends on your roosters.

You can have 2 dominant roosters - both want to be in charge. This equals squabbling and crowing contests and a general ruckus.

You can have 2 dominant roosters - share duties - both will crow and call to the hens but they work together. No crowing contests or fighting but can still be pretty loud.

1 dominant 1 submissive rooster - 1 does all the crowing and the other hides in the background and doesn't make a fuss

2 roosters who are just quiet - neither one makes a lot of noise and can actually be quieter than 1 rooster who happens to be noisy.

My other rooster is most likely a black leghorn that's been crowing for almost a month. The other rooster will be the same age, but it just started crowing.
