Do Rouen ducks return to coop at night?

Can I ask why you specifically chose 16 weeks? Mine are 9 but I reckon they're as big as they're going to get?

If you are planning to let them out, make sure you train them to come back. At 9 weeks, they might be as big as they will ever get, but aren't adults yet.

Wow. They were just babies. Maybe a predator got them? At that age, they can't fly yet.

No there still out there. I had them trained to come back in, but got home late one night and they decided it was their pond. I did have one get attacked by predator but I am nursing her back...the others are just not coming back.

And if you ever see a Rouen fly, film it. My guys are huge and can't fly!

My 2 ducks are in a large fenced in area during the day, then I put them in their run later in the day. Around dusk I put them in their house inside the run. I'm a little overprotective. I've found that herding them into the run with a small rake works well, and after a while , when I pickup that rake they go inside the run, automatically, most times!

I had two long sticks with scare crow hands. They just run around my yard and I'm old and slow...it worked until that fateful night and that...chase
