Do silkies need a insulated coop for winter?

im finishing up my coop but I’ve heard mixed responses if silkies need a insulated coop for winter. I’ll have good ventilation and I’m wrapping the run in plastic but I wasn’t sure to insulate before I get my girls. It gets well below zero here sometimes. I love in Nova Scotia. Thanks!
 
Below zero, Fahrenheit or Celsius?

I haven't found silkies to be necessarily more fragile as far as cold. Don't wrap things up too tight, as you don't want moisture building up.
 
I'm in the process to start our silkie coop as of today. our eggs came from new York so ours will not be insulated in any way.
