Do Silver Laced Polish Start Out All White?

I have a 5 week old Polish pullet (I hope) that's supposed to be a silver laced variety. However, at this point, she's still 100% white head to toe. Is it possible she's a white Polish instead of SL? Or does the SL coloring show up much later? Thanks!

Sounds like you might have a white. Silver Laced are a smoky gray color all over, closer to a self-blue or lavender color than a solid white.
