do some eggs take longer than others after the pips?

I have 2 chicks that hatched today, they hatched this afternoon. i see pips on the others but they haven't hatched yet, is it normal for them to take longer (by longer i mean longer after the first pip)? the are green eggs the one that have hatched are brown. one egg i put in a day later, the ones that have hatched where not due till tomorrow).

Some will pip,zip, and hatch in 20 or 30 minutes. Others will take 24 hours or longer. I think it has something to do with whether or not they have absorbed the yoke sac when they pip.

oh, OK. my first one struggled to get out of the egg, but the second one got out real quick after it started (but i think he was encouraged by the first one).
