Whatcha Making for Supper?

I make lasagna about every three years. In a half dish.
For as much as it's one of my favorite things to eat, it's one of my least favorite things to make.

I honestly don't know if I've had any frozen. But if it takes 55 minutes, that seems like a pretty long time. But mine doesn't take a couple days to make.

I admit lasagna is bought at Costco they have a sausage and beef one it would double my cost to do it that way.

This one has beef and sausage. I admit I bought it for convenience and today I'm pretty happy about that. lol

Yes. Costco. I'll let you know how it is. Mine is pretty darn hard to beat.

I make the sauce, meatballs and brown the sausage one day. The meatballs and sausage then get broken up and combined with pancetta in the sauce. Sauce is done.

Then I make homemade noodles and ricotta mixture and assemble the next day. I could do it all in one day, but it would be a lot of work and I wouldn't enjoy it. Not such a lot to do over two days.

Today has been very hectic. Ordered a Meat Lovers Pizza with extra Cheese Onions & Bell Peppers. It was yummy!

Well, we can vouch for the Costco (Kirkland) lasagna. It was very good. I would buy it again. It comes in a 2 pack, so I won't buy it again soon. We'll have leftovers of it to eat on Sunday, when I generally don't cook anyway. Perfect. And then we have another one for some other time when I'm too tired to cook. Def worth the money.

@pac Costco isn't close to us either. We have to drive about 45 min to get there so we go about once a month or two and stock up on meats, oil and coffee. It's worth the trip for those few things.
