Do some hens never lay?

I have three hens. Two have laid eggs since January 20. The third began laying very large softshell eggs for about a week. I began giving her yogurt and spinach. She laid two hard shell eggs and hasn't laid another one since near the end of March. She sits on the nest daily, but gets up and leaves without having left an egg. Do some hens never lay eggs or lay just one or two and stop?

BTW, they all have access to egg shells and crushed oyster shells.

Maybe it pays to complain because I just now got an egg out of the west nest where she sits to pretend to lay; the other two hens lay in the east nest unless one switched. I'll see if I get a third egg today (another in the east nest).
Maybe she smelled the dumplings boiling in the pot.

I have a white Orphington who lays about one every two weeks.
She never layed one in her first year.

She really worries me though because I don't know but that there's something dangerously wrong with her.
