Do squirrels eat eggs?

If you don't want to kill the squirrels, you can do what my friend does with them. He bought a trap for $25. The kind that they run inside and the door closes. Then once he catches them he gets colored hairspray, like pink or orange, and sprays them and lets them loose in the park for the kids to laugh at. The hairspray wears off after a few days and the squirrels are happy living in the park.

I am not recommending the hairspray part, but I did think that was funny, and wondered how in the world did he think of that.
