Do squirrels steal eggs?

Salomon Faverolles. Should some of my breeds do the same as they get older ? My girls are about 6 months old now ? Or will they always cower away ?

I've got barred rocks, a wyandotte and an easter egger as my oldest--they all chase squirrels any time they see them. There's hope for your young uns!

They will get more defensive of their space as they get older. My oldest hens are almost two and have taught the younger ones at eight months what to do.
