Do Swedish hens lay eggs Year round?

I got 2 Swedish hens in October. I was told they are around 2 years old and we’re laying eggs. I’ve yet to see or find any eggs. I’m wondering if Swedish hens lay eggs during the winter?

Every hen slows down in winter, this is *possibly* what might be happening.

I have a three year old Silver Swedish. In the two year I have had her she has not laid eggs during the winter. She has been a very good layer of large yummy eggs the rest of the year but she takes the winter off.

I have three swedish ducks and all of them are not laying currently. Even their first year they delayed laying till closer to the end of winter. It can always be hard to tell what someone else's ducks are going to do, because there is a lot of variety depending on where you live.

My 8 Swedish hens did lay all winter their first year (except for two weeks when temps were below zero), but this year, they stopped the end of November and haven't laid an egg since. I'm hoping they start again sometime in the not terribly distant future.....
