Do the eggs stop before or during the moult?

I think my girls are fixing to go into a full blown moult. Egg production has gone from normal to nothing in two days time.
Do they start to moult first and then stop laying or stop laying and then go into the moult?
I'm asking because nobody looks like they are moulting yet, but everybody looks like they could sure use one.

My eggs dropped off first then I started noticing the feathers.

Will they grow back feathers they may have lost due to feather picking?
