Do the racks come with the incubator or do you have to buy them

I am about to buy a sportmans 1502 and i was reading what it gives you and it says it gives you one tray . Is that all it gives you ? Do you need to buy more ? Any help would be greatly appreciated .

You need 6 trays for a sportsman. Most do not come with a clear door so that is extra also. Buy a Brinsea Ova-easy instead.

if you buy the newer model that is out it does have the slot veiw in the door i beleive,

you will get one hatching tray for the bottom of the bator, egg racks/trays you get a few paper pulp ones(6 chicken size, 6 quail size i think). wicks,hum pads and i think a thermo,hum pan. I think thats about it. But for egg rack/trays go the Cutlers pheasant supply you can get the plastic 30-32 egg trays for next to nothing there yellow colored.

I just used egg cartons instead of egg trays.

The egg cartons dont tip over or slide around ?

No I would try and get the ones that hold 2 1/2 doz. eggs may be able to ask some resturant if the have any empty ones. Two fit on each turn tray.
