    Hi,
five months ago my mother poured a 11 eggs under a broody hen because the hen just didn't give up and now I wonder whether my hens belong to some breed or not. The rooster wasn't a pure breed and hens of 3 different breeds: red sex link, aundalusian, and australorp.

First, I have 3 pullets that look like this one. I saw that there are chicken breeds that have very similar look.

I think this one is a amber star hybrid. Am I right?

You have a very pretty Barnyard Mix flock. Mixed breed birds or pure bred birds bred to another breed make mixed breed birds.

My "mutts" are hardy and good layers. I also enjoy the extra coloring mutts can bring.

    Enjoy.
