Ok so I have 6 ladies that are almost 22 weeks old. The 2 BR's are the only ones laying. The 2 EE's and the 1 Brahma are not even close (no red combs). We have been getting 1.75 oz and 1.5 oz eggs until today. I went out this morning and there was a tiny 1.25 oz egg in the box. Could it be that the other Brahma that has a small red comb and teeny tiny wattles could have layed it, or is it more likely that someone just had a oops egg?

Early on there is a decent fluctuation of egg size and shape, ranging from tiny little things to the occasional double yolk. There is always a chance though that one of your others laid her first egg.
