This is my first time of incubating eggs.

I have a dozen eggs in my homemade incubator and this is day 13, I think. I did not put air holes in it, but it is going good so far.

Do I still need to put the holes in their for when they hatch, or not? I need some good advice.

They definitely need oxygen when they start to pip. Holes need to either be opened or made in the incubator and until they start to pip, you can cover the holes with tape. That's what I do, and it works beautifully.
