Oh, and I've noticed some EEs start off with yellow/orange legs that darken as they get older. I've owned more easter eggers than any other breed, and i've seen quite a few strange ones!

EEs have no breed standards so they can look like anything.

There could be an error, of course, but since EEs can look like anything there's no knowing until they're laying.

Besides there not being a standard for EE, not all EE start with Ameracauna or Aruacana or similar birds. Many of the current hatchery EE get there blue or green egg color from cream crested legbars who have yellow legs, straight combs, and small crests (not beards, muffs, or puffy cheeks)
