It's an Ayam Cemani.

It is one of my Svart Hona. I have both and it takes someone working with them to distinguish them. I have to keep them banded and in separate pens to tell them apart from my Ayam Cemani.

It sure had me fooled. But then I've never actually seen either one in real life; only photos. They are beautiful chickens. )

the picture is of a AYAM CEMANI. They are totally black including their internal organs. However they lay cream colored not black eggs.

Ayam Cemanis lay black eggs. They are COMPLETELY black inside and out. Google the breed for pics.

You are so right. I had forgotten that the Ayam Cemani laid black eggs. They are very rare and very expensive to purchase.

I have Ayam Cemani and have never had a black egg. They are cream colored. Google does show dark eggs with their pictures but this is false. The only bird to lay this dark of egg is an Emu.
