My dog has the same hat as your Dane. However, my dog is less than thrilled about wearing it:

We do for Xmas, Dogs and cats only---
unless grapes and other goodies for the chickies counts!

Yep, each pet has their own stocking. I even found a chicken stocking for the girls, which they share!
