Do you consider barred rocks are aggressive?

I have 20 barred rock hens and I have heard that they are a pretty aggressive breed but I have found that they can be aggressive but not in a daily basis. Most of the time I can pet mine but I believe they are very territorial.
What's your experience with this breed?

I have never had an aggressive rock hen, but I also have never had a rock rooster so I can’t speak for those. Mine were middle of the pecking order of my other breeds and never caused any issues. I have lots and lots of space though so I don’t have any aggression issues with hens.

I have found with our past Barred Rocks that they were friendly. Our best rooster was a Barred Rock. He looked intimidating due to his size but he was very friendly to us and gentle with his ladies. He should have been called LL Cool J.
