Do you count the day you set as day one?

I set six eggs on feb. 8 at 10am. Do I count the 8th as day one or 10am feb 9 as day one. I'm trying to figure out when to stop turning them. And is the hatch date the 28th or the first of march? I'm so confused.

March 1st is your expected hatch day. Easy to remember as you set on a Saturday so will hatch on Saturday.

The 8th is the start of first day and at 8:00 am the 9th end of first day start of 2nd but counting by whole days would be 1 day incubated. You can stop turning eggs any of the days 3rd, 4th, or 5th of March. People wait for 18th day to make it simple as they up humidity in prep for hatching that day also.
