My chicks will be ready to move outside to the coop in a week or two, and I'm getting everything set up. Coop and run are set on 12x12 inch paver stones, which is set on top of 24 inches of hardware cloth apron. All doors, roofs, joining places etc... have two-hand latches to secure. However, I can't stop obsessing over every square inch of predator-proofing! Some pavers wobble a bit, the hardware cloth apron doesn't lie perfectly flat here or there. Do you ever stop obsessing about getting the coop ready? Yikes!
