With DH and I both sick these past few days it was easy to see that we face illness differently.

He stays awake thru most of it, sitting up in his recliner. He doesn't have the appetite for regular meals and grazes throughout the day instead.
Me, I'm a sleeper. I've been sleeping roughly 16 hours per days. I wake up for about two hours at a time, eat and try to get some things done and then go back to sleep for several more hours.

So, are you awake through the misery or do you sleep it away?

I am exactly like you; have been so blessed and not have anything to knock my socks off for a long time, about 6 years to be exact. My sister out in Casper, said there is a stomach virus out there that is just horrific. Hope you feel better soon!

When I am sick, I curl up and completely crash, its the only thing that helps.

I'm with you - gotta sleep it off as much as possible. My husband is like your husband, but he doesn't get sick nearly as much. I think it's because he works outside and gets a lot more fresh air.

I try to sleep through my misery...
espically if i am sick to my stomach. I'd rather be dead..

Shower. When ill only a hot shower makes it better, I crawl into the tub, blast up the hot water.

I prefer to sleep it away, but usually have to tough it out awake. That's the one thing I miss before I had kids: sick days.
