Do you Freecycle?

that's so sad....when i post some thing to give away, i weeds out the non deserving ones....a friend of mine friend uses the same freecycle as i do and when i post some thing, she will email me and ask if i will bring it over (30 miles away for her) and i know she has a working car.....because of living out in the middle of no where i have met half way.....i do not pick the first responder all the time.....it's the person who needs it the most.....i'll post and wait 2 days and pick...and when i say it's there's it thers' to come and get, if they don't come and get it with in a week i will send them a e-mail to remind them...if not anwsered i will go down my list.

Bad etiquette! I've not had that problem at all.

I sometimes get this problem: I let the person know s/he can have the item and then I don't hear back from them so I go to the next person. Then the first person finally says, "I can pick up on XYZ." Argghh! Now I have it promised to two people! I hate this. I get the nastiest e-mails back from people who took 48 hours to finally get back to me when I tell them it's gone already.

I have freecycled for over a year now.Gotten rid of ALOT and like to help those who are indeed deserving.I get some that are way greedy and sit on their a$# waiting for free stuff wether they need it or not.Or like said before, you tell them it's theirs and they never show.Drives me nuts.A simple email if you can't make it or changed your mind would have helped!
