I have a chicken with bumblefoot are her eggs safe to eat prior to the meds?

I asked in the other part and all I got was you can't eat the eggs when they are on meds. You have to wait until she is done with that.

And since I am asking, I have seen a post where some one said to eat the hen w/bumblefoot.

Would that really be safe if she had an infection?

They're fine, the infection on the foot isn't going to make it's way into the eggs. Are you using oral or injectable antibiotics on her now? If you just have neosporin on the wound I'd still eat the eggs after treatment too.
