I think blue-laced-red Wyandottes are very pretty. My Rhode Island Red has the best personality, though, so it's a toss-up.

No, but I was watching one for a friend and it died under my care!

I felt so terrible, but it turned out to be a genetic defect that had nothing to do with me.

No. I grew up with cats and adore them. Have spent many years wishing I had one, but can't at the moment due to a relative's allergies. I recently went to an animal shelter just to pet and snuggle some cats. I miss them so dearly.

Yes! I leave mine out all year. It's kind of nice to occasionally bundle up and lie outside on a crisp, clear winter night and look at the stars. Mine is so old it's falling apart, but I can't seem to find another made as well as it. All the ones I've bought over the last few years fall apart quickly.
