Do you have a sign on your coop?

BYC member baregretchen made this sign for me. Couldn't think of a name for our place so I just asked her to paint Fresh Eggs. I think she did a fantastic job.

I just have a Fresh Eggs sign I order from eBay. At this point it is more of a hope than a reality since my chickens are still so young!

I am off to get some paint this afternoon so my kids can work on some cute signs/pictures to add.

I have a reproduction tin sign - one of the two displayed inside teach1rusl's coop, the Fresh Eggs one - on the back side of the coop which faces my favorite neighbors. But that's not the sign I want to have hanging on the front as visitors approach.

I'm willing to pay for someone to make (because I don't have the requisite materials) two signs, one that says "Chez Poulet" and another, larger one for the whole backyard: "Olmstead Homestead" with appropriate artwork behind or beneath the lettering.

All these pictures of coop signs are just great! It almost makes me want to scout out materials and some paints.... but knowing myself, that "almost" really means "probably never."

Y'all are inspirations, though!

I bought this sign at a flea market-repainted it to look
like a Buff Orp., and added The Triple H Coop to it,
which stands for The Happy Hen House-The sign reads
