So soothing to watch them move about their habitat.
Oh, the many beautiful colors and patterns!
You can spend spare change or a small fortune to add to your collection.
It's amusing when they hurry over to investigate the food you've brought.
Such a wide variety in sizes and dispositions.
Don't forget they lay eggs.
They generate a large volume of poop!
When times get tough, you can always eat them........

The similarities are stunning! I'm trying to convince my DBF that chickens are just like fish, only feathery. I'm almost there. Does anyone else have anything to add to my argument?

You can flush fish.

Not so with chickens. Does that help?

Sorry, I guess I just have a sick sense of humor tonight.

If I'm close to the ocean, I'll have the fish. If we're inland, I steer toward the chicken...

However, watching chickens cluck and scratch in the backyard while I'm sipping an iced tea really can't be beat.

We have both..... Chickens are more entertaining to watch. More often funny as well as calming. The fish are usually just calming.

Not that the plecko's cant tear up the tank when they're in a mood!! We have two pleckos that are big enough to fry!

We have both...chickens are here at our place but our two tanks (small salt water reef and a Tetra tank) are over at my mom's since we don't have room for them in the camper we're living in. We hope to get started on our cabin this summer and when it's finished, we'll probably move the Tetra tank into it and leave the salt tank at mom's since she's fallen in love with it.

I always wanted to have a landscaped chicken pen. Now I am going to go think about that one! Imagine a beautiful waterfall and stream. If you used rocks as mulch and plants they don't like, it might work with chickens. :O

Imma go write a Hub on that!
