Chickngurl hatched some BR over Buff Orps from my Hawkeye way back when. Pretty birds, all with barring, but many with sort of a blonde/gold color around the head and hackle areas. If the Buff Orp was the rooster, I do believe the chicks would be sexlinked, with the cockerels having barring from the moms. Here is the link to some of the crosses she got.

That is so interesting how some are silver and some are gold! That last cockerel is a handsome guy! I love seeing pictures of Hawkeye's kids-still miss the Big Guy so much. Thank you for digging these out for us, Tara.
