in Minnesota to sell any poultry under 5 months of age you need a hatchery permit, no matter how many you sell or hatch if you wait till they are 5 months old you dont need one

I think in the US you have to be NPIP certified to ship chicks over state lines. I know it's best to be NPIP and I want to get that going here next year.
