Do you have trouble with your Cal. Whites combs freezing?

I am (still) trying to figure out what I want on my next chick order (

) this year and just got the idea about California Whites, so I'd have a pretty, varied egg basket. But I live in Minnesota and it gets really cold during the winter. I've never had California Whites before - I've heard that they can have trouble with their combs getting frostbitten. Have you noticed that your Cal. Whites tend to have their combs frostbitten more than your other hens?

Thanks!

Thank you! We live in Minnesota, so it's pretty cold all winter. So maybe it'd be best not to subject the California Whites to it. Last winter, I don't think most of my hens got frostbitten combs, but my rooster got it a little and he had a pretty big comb.
