I have been reading about everyone hearing peeping during hatching - one of mine pipped last night around 9:30pm and the pip was bigger this morning, but I don't hear anything.

I tapped on the glass of the bator and shook it a little but no sounds.

When should I start hearing peeps?

They are probably resting. It's big business trying to get out of that hard shell. Give them time and sit on your hands

What day are you on?

Sometimes I hear it...sometimes not. The shell doesn't have to be pipped to hear them peeping. AFter they pip internally, you can hear them when they are awake and pipping. I think they sleep quite a bit during the pipping and hatching.

This is day 20 for me, so this one egg is a little early. I have 4 others that had not pipped as of this morning
