Hi, we just started to build our coop, but not sure if we should insulate or not. We live in NY, where we are, we get some single digit number on winter, but get get close to 100 a few days in summer, suggestions?

I don't believe it is necessary.i had temps in the negative and temps in the high 90s my coop is aluminum sheets 2x4 construction. I left the eves open and a roof Ridge vent. just one window that I left open all summer. On the cold days I just left them in the coop. There bodies work very different than ours.

Thanks, this is what we doing, we are adding 3 windows
700

Looks good. I was trying to upload a pick of mine but I'm having trouble. Must be a issue with my phone
