Do you keep track of your broodies?

In the fall I picked up some girls and the owner had put purple bands on the legs of the ones that hatched in 2011. So I picked up 3, one of them with a purple ban.

I'm pretty sure she's a new hampshire, what are the chances that if she went broody twice last year that she'll go broody again this year.

This is Sunshine she's about 17 months old.

I think hens that have gone broody already are quite likely to do it again. I have one BR that has gone broody twice on me, and she's not even a year old yet.

If she has indeed gone broody in the past, she will most likely go broody again.

oh good, I hope she goes broody! I want her to hatch some eggs.
