do you keep your chickens in the coop in winter or let them out in run

I let mine out in the run. They don't like the snow, so I will shovel an area for them to go out in. I think the fresh air is good for them.

my chickens go in and out as they please. i had some roos that satyed out one night last winter and we had freezeing rain they had ice on there wings next morning i brushed off what i could after they started moveing aroundsome they were fine.
