Anyhow do you think there is an overuse of !!!!!!!!!!! ?

I wonder am I the only one who thinks some don't know what !!!!!! means?
  1. "The exclamation mark or exclamation point is a punctuation mark usually used after an interjection or exclamation to indicate strong feelings or high volume (shouting), and often marks the end of a sentence."
Sometimes, well most times I get it or interpret it as HUMPH! or DUH! or WHATEVER!!

( Eyeroll) .
Take a look at "SchoolHouse Rock interjection"
Because when you use !!!!!! I don't know if you're upset or yelling at me. I also suspect others don't either and get miffed and say to themselves. What a snob! or What's up with you?!! Maybe it means nothing, but how will I know?
Perhaps you can post a pic, like this. Then I will know you're upset and have a bad hairdo. Of course the hairdo might be why you're so ornery.

Ok, in Spanish we start an exclamation with an exclamation point and then end it with an exclamation point. But the first one is upside down. Does anyone know how to make and upside down exclamation mark on the computer???????????????????

Yes Rufus,
You can simply use the ALT key codes- though you can set up a shortcut key for them if you use them a lot. ALT codes can also display simple emoticons, math symbols, all manner of fun symbols.

Try Alt 0191 for the inverted question mark [ ¿ ] and Alt 0161 for the inverted exclamation mark [ ¡ ] but the numbers must be entered on the number pad of the key pad. Alt with the numbers above the keyboard opens a shortcut menu to set up the codes and hot keys you want to use for them. This is for the PC, I am not sure how the ALT codes work on a Mac

More ALT Codes and what they produce are found here: http://symbolcodes.tlt.psu.edu/accents/codealt.html
Note that some codes are version specific- Mac vs. PC and some are even software specific-

Have fun!

Okay, Since this is Random Ramblings- and the thread 'Did you know... '

The distance around your face is the same as around your head - [hat size],
You can't lick your own elbow, either one
at least two people that read this will try,
If the toe meets the heel of a sock around your clenched fist, it will fit your foot.
Your heart is about 1.5 times the size and width of your fist- most people know this
Your Kidneys are the size of one fist
The average person will grow 590 miles of hair in their lifetime
The average person will also walk the equivalent of three times around the planet,
Twice that though if you own chickens!

I actually can lick my elbow, have won bets challenging people on this feat...
LOL, As a Nurse for 25 years, I have seen many people that managed to be able to do many things that seem odd and seriously impossible so I certainly do not doubt it,

Thank you for the correction!- I have never seen this for myself, but I in fact Googled it, and it seems there are hundreds of people that can!
and will I stand corrected- and will amend my silly list-
Want to see some of them do it? You tube-
I do know about the face/head size and the organ sizes, but I have not researched the Hair or walking claim-

I didn't know most of this.

But when I buy socks I have to check to see it fits my foot. All of those marked the same size are NOT the same size. Does that make sense.

DD bought me a Large shirt but it's too small ,while a Large bought at TSC fits just fine.

Just saw this thread to my earlier post- sorry its taken this long to get to it Rancher Hicks

I sew. It's part of what I do for my online sales. but the difference in sizes are just fractions of an inch. The total difference in size from Small to Large can be only an inch depending on the garment type and where the measurement is taken. Those that work with retail sewing patterns know the cut lines are disturbingly close together for most designs. Commercial cutters layout and cut up to 100 layers of fabric at a time and even a small dink can pinch the garment by the time it's completed.
Also, Large in one country is usually not the same as it is in the US.
