I'm a first timer and from what I have seen on here, the bantams seem to hatch early. I have about 5 bantam eggs in with 28 standard eggs. Tomorrow is day 18 and the official lockdown day. When i candled last night, the bantams look awfully cramped in comparison to the standards. Should I just stop turning today instead of tomorrow? Or just keep things normal?

Any bit of help is very much appreciated!

I've hatched standards and bantams together and use Day 18 as lockdown day without any problems. I've heard of several people on here removing the egg turner at lockdown that can already hear peeping and have a very successful hatch:) Happy Hatching!

I'm pretty excited! I keep listening just to make sure there is no peeping yet. I have been manually turning them, they are in an egg carton.
