We didn't name any in the first group of 15. Just one (a sapphire splash with a dark grey head) got an unofficial, unimaginative name for her coloring and size (Big Blue). They're all banded so they go by "green leghorn" or "yellow rock," etc. The second group of 15, all Prairie Bluebells, have been getting names, mostly to do with their color (Crow, Heron, Nutmeg, Soot, Smoke, Ash, etc.). But I've decided that I'm going to name the rest with flower-themed names.

All of ours have names. We currently have Holly, Onix, River Song, Torchic, Pidgey, Hazel, Clover, Nutmeg, Cricket, Sage, Ivy, Pippin, Phantom, Blue, Ron, Wanda, Nova and Zuko.
Wanda and Nova are almost identical half sisters. I am the only one who can tell them apart, so they are usually both called WandaNova 😂
We chose to leave the names as is for those "gender suprise" little gifts 🎁 😂
Zuko is a pullet, but a patch of her down stuck to the egg when she hatched so she had to keep her name😉(adult feathers came in just fine)
