Do you prefer Kent, Hubbard or Purina feeds?

I've tried to do organic feed, but our country story only carries their brand. It is very powdery and, I think, a waste of money. My chickens are totally free range all summer so they don't eat a lot of feed, but in the winter I want to feed them the best feed I can. I went to a store about 30 miles from my house that carries the Hubbard and Kent brands and asked them about organic feeds. The lady asked me what I meant by "organic". So I talked to someone else. The don't even carry anything organic. I can buy organic wheat, oats and other whole grains from my local country store but they don't mix it for me. Shouldn't it be ground or something?
