Do you remove the fake egg/golf ball???

Once all of your chickens know what the nest box is for, do you remove the decoy egg???

I don't. Although I am thinking it really doesn't matter. But mine seem only to lay the most in the 3 boxes that contain the golf balls. I have seen the girls lined up waiting on those boxes. Only 2 boxes get used that does not have the golf balls. Maybe they got tired of waiting!!

I move mine around from one nest to another. I have two golf balls and 3 nests. It is funny they always end up in one that has a golf ball in it.

I've had the same golf balls in the nestboxes for nearly two years now.
