I'm incubating turkey eggs for the second time (the first time, all my babies died in the eggs before hatching :( ). The woman I got my new set of eggs from, said she sprays her incubating turkey eggs every day. I'd only ever heard of spraying duck eggs. Should I start spraying my turkey eggs? We're on day 17.

I do not spray my turkey eggs. I have had 100% hatches of fertile eggs. I would not spray turkey eggs.

Poults that are fully formed and fail to hatch occur when your incubation humidity is too high and does not allow the air cell to grow to the necessary size. It can also be due to the parents being too closely related as well as poor nutrition for the parents.
