Do you think chickens are more entertaining than most pets?

Honestly, not really. But they are enjoyable in their own way and I really like them a lot. I quite respect and enjoy their personalities and surprising (at least to me) intelligence.

For entertainment, though, they don't come close to a Labrador retriever, or cats in a playful mood

Compared to other animals - and I do love my other animals- chickens just have more bpm, or Behaviors Per Minute!

All my animals are entertaining.

The horse is a big love bug.
Cats, well the younger two are just crazy. Running around crashing into walls and such. Older girl in that she brings mice home for the younger two.

Dog, well.. he is dog. Aging Border Collie with arthritis in shoulders and hip.
Bunnies- Dean is cute and handsome. Molly is aggressive and occasionally needs a bath. And then there is Fluff

The chicks are entertainment for the house right now.
The two younger cats sit on top of the brooder and watch them for hours. Dog is afraid of whatever is in the big trough in the living room. Dean knows that htere is something in the trough, but as a rabbit cant see and is only concerned that they maybe cuter than him.
