tomorrow is going to be 65 and sunny, do you think i could get by with giving one of my does a bath? she got bred on tuesday, and she stinks horribly still, so bad i dont even have to touch her to get that buck smell on me! she is a bottle baby, and she needs her attention and love... so do you think i could bathe her, or would it be too cold? i would do it with warm water, not cold water out of a hose... and towel her off real good. i dont think she would appreciate a blow dryer!

Ok, we don't really. Nothing to see here...

I use a rag and vinegar on it to dilute the smell of Buck on my does. That is why I hand bred mine as they are only with the buck for a few minutes and not run with them. With this strange weather I would be afraid of it turning cold and it does take a while for the undercoat to dry thorughly. This is what I do and it works well as its just the top hairs that can get the smell.
