do you think i could fit a peahen an a peacock in this cage

never handle a peacock so dont know how big cage should be i know i can fit one in this cage but do you think i can fit a 3yearold pen an a 1-2 year old peacock.we will be driving about 1 1/2 there an same back home the will be in the back of my truck with a tarp tied down over them.to keep wind out.

i even got debbie aka little blue on byc model it to see the size i have 2 other cages if the both cant fit in one here the are

this is them in the back of my baby truck good i miss my big old ford

what do you all think i will have a tarp tied down over the top we dont know for sure yet if she is going to have 2 1 hen is for sure an going to auction to look for a purple ,camo, or peach pied or maybe a silver pied

They will be plenty big enough for the hens especially. If the males still have the full tails you will wreck the feathers. Its getting to be that time of the year that they are dropping them anyways so won't be long before it is gorgeous again. If you live somewhere where its super hot, I'd just scoot those cages up to behind the cab of the truck and forego that tarp. Its really hot in most of the country right now and with no airflow they will be baked.

yes , let the air flow. just cover the top, to keep them from jumping up, hitting their heads on the wire. Don't cover the whole cage. it will keep the sun off them also.
