I'm wanting to build another coop so I can have a bigger one but I'm wandering if you think metal siding would be ok and I know it isn't insulated and it won't hold much heat but I'm sure it will be fine when you pack up the straw.

i do think it depends on how well it is made. i have one that doesnt have the vapor barrier and it looks like its raining in there sometimes. it is colder then being outside sometimes but it cuts the wind off the chickens and i guess thats all they need. it would have to have a lot of vents for summer . with that being said, i have my babies in my pole barn but i have them in brooders w/ heat lamps and in summer if i have any in there i can open the big doors

Ok I will post a picture of one of our sheds so you guys get an idea of the metal siding I'm talking about but thanks for the replys so far

Ditto what Hokum said.
If not insulated metal siding can collect condensation on the inside when it's cold outside.
It can also collect an insane amount of heat if it's in the sun in the summer even if it's not a dark color.
