Henny Penny has fathered many of my hens' babies but none have been so dark black with the green sheen as Honker. I really dont think he is the dad. She has the coloring of Chickie and the grey legs too.

I would say that she is out of the SF because:
1.) The black legs.
2.) The feathered legs.
3.) The additional fluff going on about the head, even though I think the top knot look is more consistent with something I would expect of a Silkie cross.

You can never be certain unless you put them all through a paternity test and you know how emotionally charged THEY can be. And none of the boys is fessing up?

Yeah, dont think I'll hold Pretty Boy Roo's feet to the fire on this one. Neither HP nor Chickie are claiming paternity so I guess I'll have to pay for her college myself
