Possibly. Do you know of a case?
Just something I read some where.

In 2008, an official internal "Review of the Serious Fraud Office" compared the SFO unfavourably with two of its counterparts in New York City: the offices of the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York and the New York County District Attorney. It found that the American prosecutors obtained higher conviction rates in a shorter amount of time with fewer resources.[21] It also found that the SFO had significantly lower conviction rates than elite divisions of the UK Crown Prosecution Service.[21] It attributed the SFO's relatively poor performance to, among other things, failure to keep all court advocacy "in-house", failure to assign each case a single lawyer who managed it "from cradle to grave", failure to interview witnesses at an early stage, and failure to co-operate closely with the police.[21]
The Al-Yamamah arms deal during the 1980s was a large scale aircraft and weapons deal between the UK and Saudi Arabia. It was extended throughout the 1990s and saw thousands of UK citizens living and working in Saudi Arabia representing £40bn worth of business. BAE Systems Plc was the primary contractor.[22]
In 2004 the SFO began to investigate the contracts within the al-Yamamah deal on the grounds of suspected false accounting, but the investigation was controversially dropped in 2006.[23] The decision was made following concerns about national security[24][25] amidst reports that the Saudi Government would stop sharing counter terrorist information with the UK if the investigation continued.[26] This drew criticism from number of sources, not least from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).[27] A High Court review in 2008 ruled that the SFO had acted unlawfully by dropping the corruption investigation[28] but was later overturned on appeal by the SFO to the House of Lords.[29]

It's suspected in the UK that the Saudi arms deal matter was brushed under the carpet for political reasons, Let's hope that the same doesn't happen in favour of the scuffy thieving banks.

compound interest is a curse for the borrower and a blessing for the lender. the people that run the banks; jewish banksters, global elite, federal reserve, bilderbergers, are crooks because they want to take your freedoms and money and turn you into a third world serf or peasant like they have done in almost every country in the world. it is going to get a lot worse as they achieve their criminal goals here in the u.s.

I bet there are a lot of people who would work in exchange for a cool place to live with modern luxuries, food, vacation and a modest pay. I would design the facility so that money wouldn't even be necessary; all that is earned can be saved or spent on other wants. I would even set it up to accommodate small families, different shifts or roles (maintenance, cafeteria, etc.) so that children will be cared for.

You don't seem to have much concept of the lifestyles of the poor and less fortunate, Chickened. This type of arrangement would be a major safety net, a privately run/business guided community, which in theory will help bring us back into competition in the global market by keeping labor costs low - buy American might once again be affordable.
It already exists it is called prison.

Cubalaya is the second person in this thread to refer to "jews" as the bankers to be blamed. What is amazing to me is that no one here even raises an eyebrow to this neo nazi type of stuff. I am sure that kind of anti semitism goes over pretty good in some parts of the world. But not by me. I am also certain that these types of people want to be able to spout their filth where they can not come to harm and it sure looks like there are a lot of people on this forum that are jusr plain racist and in Cubalaya's situation, just a plain nazi.

Chickened, I am trying to be optimistic and offer solutions that I know have the potential to have some positive effects. There is no relation between cells and guards with guns, and a nice apartment provided in exchange for work in which the employee may come and go as he please.

As I pointed out earlier. Your dreamworld exists already in govt. susbisted housing, money and food...The only upside over your program is that they don't have to work for it...To them, that's not being Progressive or moving Forward.
