There have been theories that humans were created by aliens, using alien DNA. Also, studies on human DNA that have found there is alien DNA in us.

Not to be super picky about this, but there have never been theories that humans were created by aliens. A theory is a conclusion that has been backed up by evidence upon evidence and never been disproven. Saying things like "evolution is only a theory" is saying that evolution stands up to scrutiny. A hypothesis, on the other hand, is an educated guess; looking at something and saying that, based on reality, this could be the cause. Let's run some tests and see if it holds up.

"Humans were made by Aliens" is neither. Just like the question that started this whole thing, it's just something someone made up because they couldn't figure out some aspect of existence and were too lazy to do the work to explain it and/or wanted to make a buck off of gullible people who'll believe anything. Case in point: finding that humans have alien DNA? How do they know what alien DNA is without having an alien to compare it to? DNA is always composed of 4 bases-adenine, cytosine, guanine and thymine. Without those 4 bases you don't have DNA. We might have weird genes or mutations, but that doesn't mean they came from aliens. You have to prove that kind of stuff.
