Do young pullets ever act like roos?

our last batch of chicks, the americauna hen ruled the brooder. Made it clear to anyone invading her space that she was boss, even us. We were sure she has a roo. But as it turned out there were 5 roos in that straight run batch and the Americauna was not one of them. As a pullet, she was first one out of the coop in the morning too with the 5 roos coming out right behind her.

Ok, phew. For a while there I was thinking I had a boat load of roos. Guess I just gotta be patient and see what's a him and who's a her.
